A FEW OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear?

In order to safely perform holds and tricks on the pole, skin contact is required. Please see our guide below for recommended fitness attire. Note: Most classes are taught in bare feet. Indoor shoes or non-slip socks (ie: barre socks) are permitted. Please avoid using lotion or oil on hands or body prior to pole classes.

Pole Foundations &  Fitness Classes: We recommend wearing anything you feel comfortable working out in. This may include leggings or shorts and a tank top/ t-shirt. Sports bra recommended for protection and support. Indoor runners may be worn for fitness classes.

Level 1+ : Shorts above the knees are required for levels 1 and higher for safety and skill development.

Level 3+ : Shorts above the knees and clothing that allows exposure of stomach and sides as many of the moves performed will require multiple/various points of contact.

Heels Classes: Indoor heels recommended. Knee pads, socks and/or leg warmers may be worn for comfort or floorwork.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring appropriate fitness attire, water, grip aids ( if necessary) and an open mind!

I have an injury and/or medical condition - Can I participate?

Students with injuries and/or medical conditions are strongly encouraged to consult a physician prior to starting a new fitness program.
